Summer Camp Weeks Two and Three Recap!

Summer Camp Weeks Two and Three Recap!
June 20, 2018 Stephanie Reynolds

Week two of summer camp brought the first week of themed activities to the Club. The theme for Week 2 was Superheroes. Members learned about local superheroes, including firefighters, who came to our Club for a special visit! We also love our Super Club Volunteers, like Mr. Arnold Ableman, who comes to our Club twice a week to teach members all about Digital Literacy through the my.future program.

Week three was Unity Week! Members created original artwork expressing their creativity and adding encouraging quotes. We also got a special treat during Week three. Winter Construction generously invited Woolfolk Club members to visit the construction site of the new John H. Harland Innovation and Expression Studio. Members met several important members of the construction team, including the architect and the Project Manager, who gave them an inside scoop on what it takes to make a new Club happen, from design to concrete and more! We are very excited to move into our brand new Club in 2019. Click here to learn more about the T.I.E.S. project!

It’s hard to believe summer is already half way over!

We still have a few spots remaining, and pro-rated summer fees begin June 25. Email sreynolds@bgcma.org  or call 252-752-7239 for more information.
