Condoleezza Rice approached Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta in 2010 hoping to partner up with Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide. She was inspired to create opportunities for underserved youth by way of expanding their learning experience outside of the classroom. We’re proud that after nearly a decade, The Center for a New Generation at the Tuskegee Airmen Global Academy Boys & Girls Club is thriving as youth here explore a diversity of subjects from language arts, math, science, visual arts, music, and computers/technology just as Condoleezza envisioned. We work with hundreds of kids and teens each year to help them reach their full potential and provide an environment where all youth feel safe and secure to dream, discover, and develop. Alongside the CNG model for success, our programs focus on helping kids succeed in school, live healthy, and become leaders. We are so glad to be part of this community and look forward to working with you!

Why Boys & Girls Club

Boys & Girls Clubs means so much to me because I get to be part of an organization that provides so much in my own community. Every day that I walk into my Club doors, I know that I am changing lives by mentoring my members, providing amazing opportunities for them to be successful and giving them a safe place to have fun and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Who Influenced Me

Growing up, I had a number of people in my family and in my community who took me under their wing and provided me with a lot of once in a lifetime opportunities. But the people who influenced me the most to be the woman I am today are my mother and father. My mother taught me the importance of education, showed me what it truly means to be a mentor, and the life benefits of helping and educating others. My father instilled in me the importance of community service, giving back to others less fortunate than myself, and the importance of planting seeds into people to help them grow. Because of their influence and love, I am able to instill in others what they poured into me.

Advice for our Youth

To all of my dreamers, goal-seekers, and creative amazing youth, now is the time to follow your dreams. It’s never too early to begin walking in your own destiny. Always work hard, stay focused, hold your head high, and remember that you can do anything and be anything the world may say you can’t be.

Our Impact in the Community

Our Club is so important because we are able to provide a safe place in our community for our members to make connections with new friends, learn new skills, discover new talents, and be part of some amazing programs and activities that provide once in a lifetime opportunities, while most of all having FUN!

What Makes Our Club Special

Our Club is special because we are like one big family! With the support of our school, parents, and our community, our members are given endless opportunities to create a wealth of memories.
