Imagine being a kid born to parents with almost no education. Imagine if your parents sold drugs to make ends meet. Imagine if you had nowhere to turn. Not the best start in life. How would YOU have turned out?
I was that kid. My name is Adrian Perry, Youth of the Year for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.
While two loving parents adopted me and shaped my life in so many ways, I still had those scars. My past eventually caught up with me and led me down a path of hanging with the wrong crowd. My parents cared so much and were at a loss of what to do. They turned to the Boys & Girls Club – and supporters like you – to be part of our village.

Now, I’m taking the world by storm. I’m studying hard and giving back to my community. When you support BGCMA, you help thousands of kids like me get a second chance at a Great Future.
As I reflect on this season of giving, I can’t help but think how grateful I am to you and my Boys & Girls Club family. I don’t get to see you every day, but I know I can count on you. Thank you!
