What is BGCMA’s Youth Art Connection?

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta has a gallery and workspace for young artists called the Youth Art Connection (YAC) that is located at 63 Auburn Ave near BGCMA’s downtown office. Established in partnership with United Way in 1996, YAC is an important part of BGCMA’s arts and cultural enrichment programs. It also provides workshops, special events and youth focused exhibitions for Boys & Girls Club members who participate in fine arts, photography,performing arts & creative writing programs.

In addition, YAC hosts a variety of outside exhibitions and events from a number of community partners. and YAC collaborates with youth area organizations to provide innovative and challenging creative opprotunities for members. These partners include Georgia State University, Imagine It Children’s Museum, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Kiwanis Club, The FOX Theatre, Istanbul Center, Georgia Tech University, Alpharetta Jr. Womans Club, Fulton County Arts Council, City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs and more. To find out how you can collaborate with YAC, call 404.614.6233.
