What is BGCMA’s Youth Art Connection?
Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta has a gallery and workspace for young artists called the Youth Art Connection (YAC) that is located near BGCMA’s downtown office. Established in partnership with United Way in 1996, YAC is an important part of BGCMA’s arts and cultural enrichment programs. It also provides workshops, special events and youth focused exhibitions for Boys & Girls Club members who participate in fine arts and photography programs.In addition, YAC hosts a variety of outside exhibitions and events from a number of community partners. Partners include Georgia State University, Imagine It Children’s Museum, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Kiwanis Club, The FOX Theatre, Fulton County Arts Council and more. Rental Information
Youth Art Connection Gallery rents out its space for a variety of events, including birthday parties, meetings, weddings, workshops and other events. Please contact YAC at 404.614.6233 for rental requests.
