Make the Promise

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta,
a place where PROMISE lives

Each day, at locations throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta open their doors to thousands of underserved children, providing hope, opportunity and most importantly, promise.

The promise Boys & Girls Clubs offers these children is not only that the lights will be on and staff will be present, but that this is a place where they will find mentors and programs to help them realize their dreams.

For more than 17,000 children, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta is a place where PROMISE lives - a place where they are given the tools they need to perform well in school, in their communities and in their lives. From the games room to the technology center to health and physical education programs, Boys & Girls Clubs provide the promise of a brighter future.

In a world that is complex and sometimes dangerous, it is comforting to know generations of American kids have a safe, empowering and life-changing resource in their own neighborhood - a Boys & Girls Club.

Boys & Girls Clubs alumni graduate from high school at a rate of 90 percent, compared to the national average of 66 percent. Twenty-five percent of Club alumni go on to earn a college degree, and 92 percent state that helping others is a priority. Yet the most staggering statistic is that 57 percent of Boys & Girls Clubs alumni say the Club saved their life.
