Brief History
East DeKalb Boys & Girls Club, formally known as the Redan Girls Club Inc., was formed to meet the needs of the Redan community to start programs and activities for children in their community. The club began in a small house in 1978 and soon merged with Girls Club of Metro Atlanta in 1981, later in 1990 the Girls Club of Metro Atlanta merged with Boys Clubs of Metro AtlantaStaff

Our children's safety at the Clubs is our number one priority; therefore we require a background check on volunteers who work directly with our children. The completed application, along with a $6 money order for processing, should be mailed to:
