Jerry Tipton, former President of BGCMA, was one of four Hometown Heroes honored on April 2, 2009. BGCMA held its annual Hometown Heroes Gala at the Georgia Dome to celebrate these heroes and all the work done for the children of the Clubs.

Youth of the Year
Youth of the Year is a year-round program focused on the development of Boys & Girls Club members as community leaders. The 2008 Youth of the Year Awards Dinner was hosted at the newly renovated Marriott Marquis on November 6, 2008.
