Success Story

We award more than $100,000 in scholarships each year to Club kids.

Alicia

More than 75% of children and teens at BGCMA come from disadvantaged circumstances – social, economic and otherwise. And, 70% of members come from single-parent households.

We recognize the financial burden placed on our kids and families, and we know costs are a deterring factor in a post-secondary education for many families.

We help alleviate some of that cost burden for school so that our children and teens have the opportunity to go to college.

Through generous financial support and community partnerships, BGCMA is able to facilitate and award more than $100,000 in scholarship money to teens. Programs like College Bound, Youth of the Year, Fine Arts, RBI Baseball League and many more offer scholarships as incentives for youth. And, other scholarship and educational opportunities are often provided through BGCMA. Our members are also encouraged in school to maintain good grades, so they may obtain the HOPE scholarship as well. We believe education is important, and take initiative to make college a reality for our teens – through guidance, programs and monetary support.
