Because of your support, Maya B. is reaching new heights and embarking on new adventures!
This past spring, Maya graduated from high school with honors and a 3.9 GPA. As a testament to her hard work, she’s even received a full scholarship to the Air Force in San Diego.
But what makes this young leader truly unique is her knack for picking up languages! After taking a series of tests, it was determined that Maya is gifted in learning new languages, scoring in the top one percent of a military test measuring linguistic aptitude! She’s already well-versed in Chinese, but Maya plans to spend her time in the U.S. Armed Forces training to become a Russian linguist.
Her rare ability is in high demand and, if she chooses, Maya will have the opportunity to become a Russian interpreter for the military soon after she graduates. With a long-held dream of traveling the world, Maya now has this possibility within her reach.
