As part of an ongoing national volunteerism effort to support youth education and leadership development, PricewaterhouseCoopers will team up with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) for the second year in a row to inspire the next generation of leaders.  On July 17, more than 300 partners and staff will volunteer over 2,400 hours of their time and expertise to conduct life skills and college preparatory training, teach lessons in sportsmanship, and engage in minor renovation projects at Boys & Girls Clubs in 3 counties around metro Atlanta.

Last year, PwC reached out to communities through over 175 firm led projects and spent more than 60,000 work hours to make lasting and meaningful change.  Now in its fourth year, the program has contributed more than 200,000 volunteer hours to nearly 600 projects throughout the country.  PwC's Atlanta office has supported many local initiatives, including United Way, Junior Achievement Atlanta, Employees for the Arts and Partners for Education. Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta
Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta operates 30 Clubs in 13 metro counties in addition to Camp Kiwanis and Youth Art Connection, a gallery and workspace for young artists. A trained and professional staff serves more than 17,000 youth annually by offering specialized programming and a safe haven for at-risk and underprivileged children and teens. Memberships cost only $35 per school year but scholarships are available for those who need assistance.
