Comcast - Aligning Values
Youth leadership, volunteerism, literacy and diversity – all focus areas for Comcast, a partner of BGCMA. For more the three years, Comcast has supported BGCMA’s Power Hour program, which is a dedicated homework help program implemented in all Boys & Girls Clubs. Comcast and its employees are able to carry out their values of education, literacy and technology through programs and activities offered to children and teens members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta.
BGCMA’s wide reach – with 30 Clubs in 13 counties – also fits Comcast’s mission to get employees engaged and involved in the communities where they live, work and play. Comcast instills the importance of community and giving back in their employees. With individual volunteer opportunities and Cares Day, a nationwide community outreach program, employees have become engaged with our kids and our Clubs, truly making a difference with the youth of Atlanta.
“We are thankful to have the opportunity to partner with an organization that touches so many lives,” said Andy Macke, VP of Government and Community Affairs of Comcast. “We are excited about the future of our partnership and are honored to be a partner with six Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta locations.”
Thank you Comcast for believing in our mission or vision and our future.
