Brookhaven Boys & Girls Club
Thanks to a Carnival Day hosted by current Tennessee Titans linebacker and BGCMA Alumnus Rennie Curran on June 24, Brookhaven Boys & Girls Club members now know and understand the importance of philanthropy. Curran along with Miss Liberia/Miss West Africa Mahaja Zeon visited the Club and explained philanthropy and why it is essential to Club members. A variety of moon bounces, a cotton candy machine and snow cones were just a few of the treats Curran sponsored for the day. In honor of philanthropy, Club members Club members held a children’s book, school supplies and clothing drive from June 20 to June 24 which they will donate to Liberian children.
