DETAILS:

Join us for the inaugural Cherokee Celebrity Feud, which is the 14th annual fundraiser to benefit the Malon D. Mimms Boys & Girls Club of Cherokee County! The event will take place on Thursday, October 26th at the Cherokee Conference Center. This year, the event has transformed into a live game show that will deliver an evening full of surprises, slip ups, and zany answers mimicking the popular TV show, Family Feud. In his best “Harvey” translation, The Punchline Comedy Club owner and professional comedian, Jamie Bendall, will serve as the game show host and moderator.

The event is being chaired by Jerry Cooper, Boys & Girls Club of Cherokee County Board President and Laura Mikszan, member of the Boys & Girls Club of Cherokee County Board. Food service will run from 6-7:30pm and then the evening will transition to where our local Cherokee celebrities will compete against one another in a night that is guaranteed to be filled with fun, laughter, cocktails, live entertainment, and the chance to bid on some amazing raffle prizes!

Our local celebrity feud challengers include:

  • Leavitt B. Ahrens, Jr. (“Buzz”), Cherokee County Chairman of the Board of Commissioners
  • Jerry Cooper, Cherokee County Manager
  • Ken Ball, Chief Deputy of Cherokee County
  • Misti Whitfield Martin, President of Cherokee Office of Economic Development
  • Tim Prather, Cherokee County Fire Chief
  • W. Alan Jordan, Chief Judge, State Court of Cherokee County
