Part of PBS’ Spotlight Education week and American Graduate Day 2016, our 2015/2016 Youth of the Year for Georgia shared how his mentors at Boys & Girls Club helped him discover his passion in life and excel as a leader. Studies show mentors help youth in many ways including helping students in school, improving self-esteem and day-to-day living and encouraging them to set and achieve career goals. Watch as Brian Ball shares how mentorship has influenced his journey.
